FORS is a voluntary accreditation for fleet operators. Its purpose is to raise the level of quality within fleet operations and recognises those who achieve exemplary levels of practice in safety, operation and environmental protection.
Technical Director, Paul Kidd, said: “Achieving FORS Gold accreditation for Eurovia's Slade Green Depot is both fantastic news and well-deserved recognition for the whole team led by Aaron Sherman, Bob Murphy – Business Fleet & Plant Managers and supported by Chelsey Paden, Karen Streeter. FORS Gold helps demonstrate exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection, and improves our reputation as a safe and sustainable fleet operator.”
Aaron Sherman was appointed as Business Fleet and Plant Manager in March 2023 and one of his first priorities was to retain Silver in his 1st year and fulfil our obligations to achieve FORS accreditation up to Gold standard in 2024.
Aaron commented “It's an immensely proud day for me and the whole Eurovia team for marking this achievement. The recognition proves our passion for safety, sustainability and use of best practices throughout our whole operation underpinning our company vision to deliver and excel in a safe and first class service to our customers. I would very much like to thank all employees at Eurovia for making this feat obtainable."
